A Bright Autumn morning...

The sun invited me this morning to go outside and enjoy the crisp air. There is something so special about an Autumn morning. The air is so cool but yet refreshing and the smell of fallen leaves makes me smile. I did have my layers and winter boots on. It's been around 60F everyday here in Maine and the nights around 25F, so it's difficult to get used to the cold.
The colors of Autumn were stunning this year and the leaves have hung on to give us a longer display. The chipmunks are still gathering their winter supply and the birds are feasting. Winter may be here soon...

Enjoy you day!!

Wolf Awareness Week 2015

The snow is finally starting to melt here in Maine. There is still 3ft of snow in some areas but at least the tulips are making an appearance and a turkey vulture flew over, so many signs of Spring.
This week is Wolf Awareness Week and a great time to learn more about this incredible species that has been in the limelight for too many reasons, and many without a happy ending.
I have volunteered with Wolves and have always had a connection with these powerful animals. They are many wonderful things and so misunderstood.

Please take the time to read the link below. Learn the facts, not the myths. There is a reason for every living creature on this planet and the Wolf is no exception. I hope one day the human race can live among the animals, it may not be in my lifetime, but I still hope.
We as humans cannot live without Nature, but Nature can certainly live without humans.

Take care!
