Day after the blizzard...

Hi!
What a beautiful day! The sky is sooo blue, the wind is gone and the temperature is perfect, with the correct attire. It finally stopped snowing yesterday afternoon and the sunset was unbelievable...
This morning I shoveled my way to the feeder. There is about 2ft of snow but it's light so easy to move.
There was also a mink that visited last night - little footprints everywhere...poor thing was probably having a tough time finding food. I wish I had seen it...
Enjoy the day!

During the Blizzard

Hi!
It's still snowing and very windy. We definitely got over 2ft and they are expecting the storm to last until this afternoon. I love it! Sounds crazy...but I love snow. If it wasn't so windy - I would be outside. The birds are having a tough time eating - the wind makes if difficult for them to stay on the feeder. Also because the squirrels are trying to eat as well.

Before the Blizzard...

Hi!
Well today into tomorrow will be proof again of Mother Nature's power. We are expecting at least 2 feet of snow - if not more and a lot of wind. There hasn't been a "blizzard" in the Northeast for numerous years. They called this storm Nemo. A storm to remember...
Before the wind really picked up - I filled the bird feeder and took some pics. There has been a beautiful Yellow-bellied Sapsucker visiting....he loves the suet.
Tomorrow I will post more pics of after the storm...
Take care!!!
